Doula Services

What is a doula?
A doula is your guide and coach through your birth journey through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We provide constant communication and support during the birth. This support can empower mothers to be and provide a more enjoyable birth experience.

Midwife vs. Doula
The difference between a doula and a midwife is that a midwife is trained in medical birth and a doula is non-medical. We are an emotional and educational support individual who also helps with physical duties at home such as non-medical pain relief, nourishing mom and dad, helping create the birth space, and keeping the environment calm and relaxed.

Birth Doula
We offer a tiered scale with our Doula services. We can be a part of your entire journey from pregnancy through postpartum, just during birth, or birth and postpartum. We will go over your birth preferences, map out where you are planning to give birth whether that be in a hospital, birth center or at home, talk through labor positions, the different stages of labor, and more.
